1. Download the app
2. Turn on the Wi-Fi feature on your phone
3. Tap to connect to the “C5-******” Wi-Fi network
4. Enter the password: 12345678
5. Return to the app

Go to your phone’s Wi-Fi settings, find the Wi-Fi name corresponding to the dash cam, then click on the Wi-Fi name (for Android devices) or the exclamation mark next to it (for iOS devices). From there, select "Forget This Network" or "Delete Network" to disconnect.

By default, the dash cam uses 5Hz Wi-Fi, but it may havebeen switched to 2.4GHz mode in the settings. Some older smartphones do not support 5GHz Wi-Fi, which may be why the network isn’t showing up.

How to Fix It:
1. Use a phone that supports 5GHz Wi-Fi to connect to the dash cam.
2. The default Wi-Fi band setting is 5GHz. If not，you can switch the Wi-Fi band by pressing and holding for 3 seconds.Now, your phone should be able to detect the dash cam’s Wi-Fi network.

Note: 2.4GHz Wi-Fi has slower data transfer speeds compared to 5GHz.

1. Ensure your phone is within 3 meters (10 feet) of the dash cam.
2. Double-check the Wi-Fi SsID and password.
3. Ensure no other devices are already connected to the dash
cam's Wi-Fi. If so, disconnect them.
4. Turn off your phone's mobile data, security software, and VPN.
If the issue persists, contact customer support for further assis-
tance.

When your phone connects to the dash cam’s WiFi, it may display a message saying, “No internet connection.” This is normal. Simply select “Keep Trying Wi-Fi.”
If you need to use your mobile network, just disconnect from the dash cam’s WiFi. The dash cam will continue recording even without a WiFi connection.

Cellular data may prevent live view from working. If you're unable to view the real-time feed, disable cellular data for the Viidure app.
On your iPhone, go to:
iOS 18 or later: Settings → APP → Viidure → Wi-Fi only
iOS 18 or earlier: Settings → Viidure → Wi-Fi only

This occurs because your phone prioritizes connecting to CarPlay or Android Auto, making it difficult to establish a connection with the dash cam. To successfully connect the dash cam, follow these steps:
1. Temporarily disable CarPlay or Android Auto on your phone.
2. Reconnect your phone to the dash cam’s WiFi.
3. Fully close the Viidure app, wait 10 seconds, then reopen the app and add the dash cam.

NOTE: In general, we recommend keeping your phone connected to CarPlay or Android Auto as a priority. You don’t need to connect your dashcam to phone Wi-Fi unless necessary – it automatically records without a connection.
